Close by (approx. 150 m) you can find grocery stores, a pharmacy, an indoor swimming centre, tennis courts (in winter instead of tennis courts a huge, elevated ice-skating ring with a view over Vienna´s rooftops), bowling alley. The next tram and subway stations can be reached in 5 minutes on foot. In 15 minutes the tram brings you to the historic centre of the city (Stephansplatz and pedestrian area Kärntnerstraße, Hofburg, museums, Spanish Riding School). Take it in the other direction and it brings you to the recreational area Wienerwald. The subway takes you to many tourist attractions, for example "Schloss Schönbrunn", parks and the "Prater" - Vienna´s theme park with a large ferris wheel.
The trainstation Westbahnhof is only 4 subway stops away, to station Südbahnhof it takes 25 minutes by subway or tram.
