The apartment is located close to the airport train station (“S-Bahn”) “Rennweg” in the immediate vicinity of Belvedere Palace and the Botanical Garden. You can reach the historical centre by walking along the “Rennweg” street or through the diplomatic district in 10 minutes. At the Fasanplatz square the trams "71", "O" and the S-Bahn station offer practical connections. If you arrive by car you reach the apartment coming from the west via Karlsplatz - Schwarzenberg Platz - Rennweg – Obere Bahngasse. In front of the apartment and generally in the inner districts of Vienna parking is restricted. Between Monday and Friday from 9 to 22 H you need to fill-in parking vouchers, which allow you to park up to 2 hours. On working days, we recommend the Park & Ride system (€ 3 per day) or the “Karlsplatz Garage” underground parking (€ 7 per day). On the weekend you are free to park on the street in front of the house.
Around the house you will find different shops, supermarkets, a pharmacy and various nice restaurants. The Botanic Garden, the Belvedere garden, and the Swiss Garden with the restaurant “Klein Steiermark” (Small Styria) are well worth a visit. There are several ways to walk from the apartment to the historical center (1st district). The shortest way is the Rennweg offering a collection of interesting buildings in a small stretch: the Church Sacré Coeur, the Carmelite Church, the entrance to the Lower Belvedere Palace, the Church of the Guard of the Polish community and the Schwarzenberg Palace. Don’t miss a mug of home-brewed beer and traditional Viennese cuisine at the brewery-restaurant “Salm Bräu” at Rennweg 8. The diplomatic district within the streets Rennweg, Ungargasse and Heumarkt is home to many embassies, the Russian Orthodox and Serbian Orthodox churches as well as the Vienna Concert Hall (Konzerthaus).
The stylish apartment is very close to the diplomatic quarter and the Belvedere Palace. The apartment was completely renovated in 2010. The representative house was built in the around 1900 and reflects the rich architecture of the Austro-Hungarian Empire. The apartment is on the 4th floor with elevator. It is suitable for 1-4 persons. The beds are divided into a double bed (160x200) and a sofa bed (mattress size 140x200cm).
